Tim is a founding partner at Kinetic12 consulting.  He brings expertise in strategic planning, marketing, market research, category management, P&L management, innovation, and Foodservice.  For the last 12 years Tim has consulted and led engagements with a variety of B2B and B2C clients to tackle a broad range of strategy, portfolio, innovation, and research challenges – from opportunity assessments and business strategy development, to training on strategic planning to building long range innovation pipelines. 

He has more than 30 years’ experience in marketing and strategy.  He worked at Kraft Foods for 17 years across a number of categories and brands and was Director of Strategy for the North American Foodservice division.

Tim has worked as a consulting partner with IFMA on the development of best practices in category management planning with distributors, joint business planning with chain accounts and supply chain optimization.  For the last 5 years Tim has led the design and facilitation of an industry forum called Foodservice Collaborative Innovation that has involved more than 150 chain operators and manufacturers.

He is experienced in qualitative and quantitative research design and has moderated more than 350 focus groups.  He has an MBA from McMaster University in Ontario, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in marketing.
